Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA): Durie Leidner
-
The BCBA provides behavioral and educational support to promote skill development, independence, and positive behavior for all students within the MD program. Services include conducting assessments, developing and monitoring individualized behavior intervention plans, training and coaching staff in the implementation of evidence-based strategies, and collaborating with related service providers and families to ensure consistency across settings. The BCBA works closely with classroom teams to foster an environment that supports communication, engagement, and meaningful learning outcomes for every student.

Occupational Therapist: Stephanie Valdeon

Occupational therapy is based upon both individualized therapy sessions, integrated small group lessons focusing on motor and sensory development, and consultation with staff relating to specialized sensory diets, strategies, and tools for generalization to promote success in all academic settings.

Physical Therapist: Sibel Zentai

As a school based physical therapist, our role is to help students improve their overall movement, strength, balance, and coordination so they can participate fully in school activities. We provide exercises and strategies to support mobility and access in classrooms, playgrounds, and other school areas. The physical therapist collaborates with teachers, parents, and other school staff to create individualized plans that help each student reach their physical and educational goals.

Speech-Language Pathologist: Jamie Caruso

Speech therapy is typically delivered using a combination of the pull-out and push-in models in order to allow for generalization of communication skills. Therapist uses a collaborative approach to ensure each students’ individual communication needs are met across all academic environments.
