5Ma Homework Fun Facts!  

1. We copy basic homework in our planners each day
2. Homework details can be found posted here each afternoon 
3. Our 5th graders complete about 50 minutes of homework plus 20 minutes of reading each night
4. Give best independent effort for homework each night
5. (Almost!) ALL materials can be found in our Google Classrooms for English, Math,and Social Studies
6. In addition to daily math HW, students have the following longer term assignments and activities:  
   • a Walk in the PARCC problem is due each week on Friday
   • a topic Performance Activity is due on the day of our topic assessment  
7. Students will turn in their reading log for the previous week each Monday; parents will initial the bottom to acknowledge their chidren's reading
8. Study guides will be posted in our Google Classroom for assessments
