**Grade 5 homework policy states the average nightly homework should not exceed 50 min.

2.  Math:  25 minutes on IXL Math Diagnostic.  Go in throught the Diagnostic Arena.  Under each math topic, (for example, "Numbers and Operations") it will give you a list of recommended skills or tell you to keep diagnosing.  Click on recommended skills under any math topic in your Diagnostic Arena and work on those.  If you see you are getting them wrong, you should be reading the explanations and making a good attempt to learn the skill.

2.   Math: )Performance Task in your Chapter 7 math workbook, page 353.  Give it a try.  If after about 10 minutes, you feel it is too difficult, then please continue studying using the study guide on your Math Classroom.  The Performance Task is a good problem solving excercise.  There is more practice on problem solving on the study guide for section 7.9.  

3.  Math:  Chapter 7 quiz is tomorrow.  Continue Studying.  Your Study Guide is on math classroom.
