Homework Homework will be assigned almost every night. ALL WORK MUST BE SHOWN FOR CREDIT. Late homework will only be accepted due to an absence from school. If you are absent, I expect that you will do your best to complete the assignment. Assignments will be graded for effort on the following scale: 3 points = Every problem is completed or there is work shown for every problem (if you have difficulty arriving at an answer). 2 points = A few problems are not completed or do not have work shown. 1 points = Half or less than half of the problems are not completed or do not have work shown. 0 ponits = Homework not completed (or is not brought to class). Please note:Most homework assignments should take 20 to 30 minutes.
Grading Policy: Grades will be posted as points and calculated into your marking period grade as a percentage. Please expect to be assessed daily on homework/classwork assignments. In addition, there will be a quiz, test, or project approximately every 5-8 days. These assessments will vary in weight and will make up a larger portion of your grade than daily work.
