At the Regular BOE Meeting held on January 25th, the Rumson Board joined the many districts across New Jersey passing the resolution linked below to move the Board Member Elections to the general election date in November. There is also a link to the local finance notice with Q&As regarding this change which may be of interest to you. We will still be holding a public hearing on the 2012-13 budget and providing you with information as it is compiled.

| Forrestdale Cross Country Team |
| On January 25, 2012, members of the Forrestdale Cross Country Team were recognized by the Rumson Board of Education and Superintendent, Dr. Caulfield-Sloan, for their outstanding Fall season. Both the girls and boys teams were only defeated one time the entire season by Monmouth Beach! There were seven boys and six girls who participated in the Meet of Champions at the end of the Season, based upon their averages for all of the meets during the season. One of the Forrestdale boys won the entire Meet of Champions, placing first out of a total of 144 boys! |

Applications must be submitted to the Deane Porter School Main office by 3:00pm on Monday, February 20, 2012. The lottery will be held on Tuesday, February 21, 2012.
